    Our Veterinarian

    Dr. Bryan Gooding, our veterinarian, is a native of North Carolina. He was exposed to veterinary medicine at a young age as he sometimes accompanied his father to work at a veterinary hospital.

    Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

    Tara has been employed at our hospital since 2010. This is Tara's second term of employment with our hospital as she previously worked with us while she was in high school.

  • Katelan Sullivan
    Veterinary Assistant

    Katelan joined the Pembroke team in 2011 while she was attending Kecoughtan High School. As one of our veterinary assistants, she loves being able to provide quality care for her patients and working alongside others who share her passion for animal care. She also loves helping sick and injured pets get well again and getting snuggle time with puppies and kittens. Katelan has three cats, Lewis, Sunny, Moon, and a German Shepherd named Luna. When she’s not caring for pets at Pembroke, she spends time with her family, listens to music, attends concerts, and loves food.

    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Liza became one of our newest veterinary technicians after joining the Pembroke Animal Hospital team in 2016. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree in veterinary technology from Blue Ridge Community College. This is Liza's second term of employments with our hospital as she previously worked with us while she was in high school.
